The ASUS RT-AX52 WiFi router operates as a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 device, providing a combined transfer speed of up to 1,775Mbps. This device combines the 2.4GHz band at 574Mbps and the 5GHz band at 1,201Mbps. Four external antennas transmit the signal in a 2×2 configuration on both bands and stabilise the wireless network. The hardware includes a 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 256MB of RAM, and 128MB of flash memory for stable data stream processing.

Connected devices automatically switch to the node with the stronger signal without interrupting downloads or calls. The network can be expanded at any time by adding another compatible access point.
Network Security
Data is protected by the modern WPA3 Personal encryption standard, complemented by the WPA2 Enterprise corporate protocols. An integrated firewall filters incoming traffic and prevents unauthorised intrusions into the internal network. The router offers advanced security features, including Instant Guard, which allows you to create a secure VPN connection from mobile devices even when using public Wi-Fi networks. It supports WPA, WPA2, WPA3, and WPA2-Enterprise encryption, L2TP, OpenVPN, PPTP, and WireGuard VPN clients, as well as IPSec, OpenVPN, and PPTP VPN servers. It also includes parental controls with the option to set time limits for internet access.
WiFi Router Connectivity Options
Wired connections to the internet and other network elements are handled by the gigabit Ethernet ports on the back of the device. There is one dedicated WAN port for the internet source and three LAN ports for local devices. These connectors support transfer speeds of up to 1Gbps, meeting the demands for fast data transfers on a home network.
