The Ajax ReX 2 (8EU) ASP black is the second generation of the radio range extender in black, taking the capabilities of the Ajax system to the next level. In addition to extending the communication range between the Hub and endpoint devices, it also supports photo-verified alarm detectors such as MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor. This allows you to effectively combine long-range security with instant visual confirmation of an event. The Ajax ReX 2 (8EU) ASP allows sensors, sirens or controls to be located up to almost twice as far from the central unit. In combination with five ReX 2 units in one system, an area of up to 35 km² can be secured. Reliability is ensured by encrypted communication via Jeweller technology and fast transmission of alarm messages within 0.3 seconds.

Reliability and photo verification support
The ReX 2 signal extender not only provides a stable connection between the Hub and devices, but also supports camera detectors. Thanks to the Jeweller protocol and the Malevich OS, it can instantly transmit an alarm message and at the same time transfer images from the sensor to the user. This improves reliability and eliminates unnecessary interventions during false alarms.
Durability and safety
The Ajax ReX 2 (8EU) ASP is protected against both software and hardware attacks. It uses AES floating-key encryption and alerts for interference or tampering. In the event of a power outage, it switches to an integrated Li-Ion battery with a lifetime of up to 35 hours, so the protection of the area is never interrupted.
Easy installation and management
Installation is intuitive - using a QR code, assignment to the Ajax Security System app and mounting on the SmartBracket. There is no need to disassemble the device, configuration and diagnostics are performed in real time directly in the application. Thanks to the two-way communication, ReX 2 can also be managed remotely.
