In the board game Piatnik Elixirusas apprentice playersgather in the house of a brilliant forest wizard Elixirus and tries to impress him with his own creations. But before they can brew their potions, they must first search for magical ingredients, which involves cleverly placing apprentices in an enchanted forest where mushrooms, acorns and herbs can be gathered. The necessary ingredients come in six different colours and variations, each with a different point value, which is crucial for the final score. Apprentices use all sorts of tricks to get their hands on the desired ingredients - trading or even stealing is allowed as long as the effect is shown on the relevant forest map.

Game rules
In the board game Piatnik Elixirus, after gathering the ingredients, it's time to brew the potions. Each apprentice uses their own cooking board with five different types of bottles, a poison bottle and a storage bowl. But no one is born a master brewer, so apprentices must follow strict guidelines. They must pay close attention to individually enchanted and cursed ingredients that positively or negatively affect scoring. The first apprentice to complete a bottle type is rewarded with additional points. Once the apprentice completes his fourth bottle and caps it with a cork, the game ends and scoring begins.
