Separate Buttons Make Controlling the Fenix E04R Clear and Simple
Turn on the main white light by pressing and holding the corresponding button for 0.5 seconds. You can then switch between the different power levels with short presses. Double-pressing the same button activates the red light. The side coloured light has its own controller, which is also turned on by holding it down, and short presses switch between flashing and RGB modes. The Fenix E04R's memory function restores the last used power level of the white or side light the next time it is switched on. The indicator LED displays the remaining capacity for 3 seconds when the torch is turned on or when the button is pressed briefly in the off state. A solid green light indicates 85–100%, flashing green 50–85%, solid red 25–50%, and flashing red less than 25%. When the battery is low, the torch will automatically reduce the brightness and flash red to indicate that it needs to be charged.
Recharge via USB-C
Power is provided by a built-in 400mAh Li-pol battery. Charging is done via a USB-C port with an internal waterproof treatment, and a full charge takes approximately 2 hours using a 5V/1A source. The battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time. The torch can remain on while charging, only the highest white light output is unavailable. The battery operation is supplemented by protection against overcharging and complete discharge.
Durable Plastic Protects the Torch from Water and Impacts
The impact-resistant plastic body of the Fenix E04R torch withstands drops from a height of 1 metre. The IP66 rating ensures it is dustproof and protected against strong jets of water from all directions. Intelligent thermal protection automatically reduces the power output when it reaches 60°C to limit further heating.

Luminous Flux
Measured in Lumens (lm), the higher the value, the more intensely the headlamp shines. Some LED headlamps offer multiple light intensity levels, which can be adjusted in steps or continuously. However, a higher luminous flux shortens the battery life.Up to 100lm – a headlamp for home use (lighting in the cellar, attic, or when repairing a car).
100–400lm – for outdoor use (night running, cycling, camping).
Over 400lm – for extreme professions and sports (rescue workers, mountaineers).
