Things to keep in mind when buying a fitness band

• Resistance - divided into light, medium, and heavy. Strength is indicated by colour – bright-coloured bands are designed for lighter workouts (yellow), while darker colours indicate heavier resistance (red, blue, green). Strength estimates are also listed in kg. Additionally, a lot depends on the tension - the more you stretch your band, the more resistance it provides. This means that you can personalise your workouts to a certain extent. For steel spring expanders, the resistance level is regulated by removing individual springs.
• Length and grip - you can find fitness bands without handles (you wrap it around your palm) or with handles (can be hard or soft).
