SAPPHIRE HD 6450

Low profile, totally silent, energy-intensive and at the same time modern graphics card from a renowed manufacturer of graphics accelerators with AMD Radeon chips. The card is targeted to users who no longer have an integrated graphics chip included in the chipset of the motherboard or in newer processors. Compared to integrated solutions, a single graphics card will offer higher performance, more compatible video acceleration, and last but not least, wider connectivity options. It's an ideal choice for home multimedia, for example, for digital photography, HD video, including 3D Blu-ray, and can also be used to play older titles in lower resolutions.
The card comes from the most basic series of new "6th" Radeons, and uses one of the possible configurations. The Caicos graphics core is clocked at 625 MHz, and the effective memory is 1334 MHz and has a size of 512 MB. Compared to the previous AMD Radeon HD 5450, the new model has doubled the number of stream processors, giving it almost double the game performance. Compared to the Intel HD Graphics 3000 integrated graphics chip, the power difference is up to 20% on average in favour of HD 6450.
The standard HD 6000 card has an integrated UVD 3.0 video decoder which makes the processor work harder while playing videos. It can accelerate both MPEG-2 (SD and HD), MVC (Multi-View Codec) for Blu-ray 3D, MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 (VC-1) and Adobe Flash. Blu-ray 3D video output, watching 3D Blu-ray movies and playing 3D games, catered for by AMD HD3D and HDMI 1.4a to transmit both 7.1ch Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 channel sound.
