Smart and healthy grilling
The SAGE BGR840 SMART contact grill lets you quickly cook juicy steaks and other grilled dishes right in your kitchen. Thanks to its unique design, you can use the grill not only as a contact grill but also as an open-top BBQ, allowing you to easily cook vegetables, eggs or pancakes on both plates. In addition, the non-stick surface of Quantanium grill plates allows for healthy grilling with a minimum of oil.

Prepare the meat as you like
The SAGE BGR840 SMART contact grill is equipped with a built-in temperature probe, allowing you to cook meat exactly to your liking. You can choose from five types of meat (beef, lamb, pork, chicken and fish), including the option to set the degree of doneness. There is also a ‘Rest Meat’ function, which prevents the food from overcooking and ensures that the juices and flavours are distributed evenly.
Removable grill plates with Quantanium surface
The SAGE BGR840 SMART is fitted with a ribbed top grill plate and a smooth bottom grill plate, which can be swapped over. You can easily remove the trays from the appliance by pressing a special button, making it easier to wash them under running water. The bottom plate has an adjustable slope for quick draining of excess grease into the drip tray.

Sensors Element IQ
The grill plates are fitted with special sensors which detect a drop in temperature when food is placed on them, and then compensate for this by raising the temperature in that area. This allows the temperature on the grill plates to rise to the set point more quickly, ensuring faster grilling than conventional contact grills.
Backlit LCD display
For clear adjustment of temperature, cooking time and other functions, the grill is equipped with a clear backlit display and two rotary dials. You can adjust the temperature between 160 and 230 °C, and once the temperature probe is connected, you can easily select the type of meat and cooking method via the control panel to ensure perfect results every time.
