RODE VideoMic Pro Rycote

Ultra-light condenser microphone designed for use with camcorders, DSLR (digital SLR), and portable audio recorders. It uses a 0.5" capsule that, despite its truly minimalist dimensions, records professional-quality sound. The microphone features a wide frequency range of 40Hz - 20 kHz and maximum SPL (Sound Pressure Level) of 134dB. The RODE VideoMic For Rycote can handle any tone, from soft human voice to intense amplification of an electric guitar. Of course, included in the package is a high-pass filter that prevents the recording of ambient noise. You won't have to worry about nearby car traffic or a running air conditioning unit at all.

The microphone also features a 3/8" camera attachment point that makes it compatible with most contemporary devices. For audio transmission, it uses a 3.5mm stereo mini-jack. It is powered by a 9V battery that provides up to 70 hours of operation.
