It repeatedly jumps straight into upgrade mode, where it doesn't update anything. That's not how it works. I got both controllers from Alza with the batteries fitted and the bags split, apparently someone returned it.

The senior remote has different, much less useful buttons than shown in the product picture and instructions.
Instead of the much-needed EPG button, you'll find TXT (which senior will read the teletext. ), instead of the Exit (back) button you will find SAT (switch to satellite), etc.
A senior driver would be a great asset if it contained what it properly should

Suitable for the elderly, good and simple operation, large characters on the remote control, few buttons (I take as a plus for older people) and quick installation (someone must help who knows a little about control and installation of el. equipment).
