I've been a happy RX100 V user for 5 years, now I've bought the upgraded VA and there is no camera of this compact size and photo quality that is better than the RX100 and has a zoom. Who wants to have quality photos from travel (no mobile phone is equal to this) and at the same time does not want to carry a larger device so this is the obvious choice. Then there is just the fundamental dilemma of whether to choose a shorter, brighter lens or a longer, less bright lens. The zoom range on the M6 and M7 is admirable, and some of the other features on the M7 were very appealing, but I often shoot in low light conditions, so I opted for the M5A.

Focus speed
if I am focusing on a specific point and I jump the wheel to set another function, I can no longer return to the focus point shift (it remains inactive and the wheel for reverting back does not work) and I have to set the focus point again. The only major fault of the RX100MVA. A firmware update for this bug is not yet available.
