It is quite noisy, I have an older model Rohnson R-9010, it is much quieter, and it also has an ionizer
It doesn't have an ioniser, although they say it does

In a few hours it can reduce the humidity in our room from 70% to 55% (room approx. 35m2)
Also dries clothes quickly (sometimes we have dry towels within two hours)
It's a little noisier on the fast fan, but as long as you're not in the room/sleeping near it it shouldn't be a problem.
