The GC2988/80 Power Life Plus steam iron is another one from the tried and tested Philips GC series. The constant steam output is 40g/min, and the steam boost reaches 150g/min. All you need to do to produce steam is to pour normal tap water into a 300ml tank. The SteamGlide soleplate is the best patented soleplate of the Philips company. It has excellent scratch resistance, long slide and is easy to clean.

The iron has a power consumption of 2400W and also features a modern, scale deposition preventing Calc Clean system and the Calc Clean Slide function for easy scale removal.
