I gave it a week, testing every day for 2 - 3 hours. Localization was successful in about 10% of cases. When the GPS signal is lost, it does not reload the signal even after an hour of waiting (in an open area), a manual restart of the device is necessary - quite impractical when I need to find the device: -( Usability in the forest is zero, even though there are no leaves on the trees. The presentation of the device looks nice, they promise mountains of mines, but the deed is done. Unfortunately, I cannot give less than one star. I do not recommend the device, a waste of money.

Connecting to the GPS network is a matter of chance, the signal is only rarely picked up
When GPS signal is lost, it no longer connects itself, manual restart is required
If it is ever online, it usually determines the position via LBS, even a few km off the actual position.
Absolutely unsuitable for dog tracking
Possibly useful for determining the position of an immobile grandmother

I was looking for a device to keep track of 2 cats at the cottage where we really only take them occasionally.
At night, they woke up into beasts exploring the area, so it was easy to see if they were venturing far away.
You can operatively change the frequency of refreshing the position on the map, it's almost online and shows both the direction of movement and speed. Sometimes it was a problem to catch the signal, but restarting the device always helped.
For occasional use it's very nice, plus you can remotely ring the device and identify the animal more easily. A cat is simply not a dog and will not always come when called if it is under stress and in an unfamiliar environment. The cat hid in the basement and the signal was not displayed. I definitely recommend the price/performance ratio and reliability/ease of use/battery life. And you save yourself the nerves of wondering if your pet is lost somewhere, you have it under control. Alternatively, it can also be used to monitor people (children), but not tested.

The collar to the device is larger for a cat, it is more suitable for a dog, but can be taped to solve
