the noise level is sort of reasonable, I like silence and I can work or sleep with this. it's not noisier on lower and higher power
when you turn the unit off but don't unplug it (why too), there's a flashing light (I guess I meant the suction cup is on), if I had it facing me and was staring at it flashing, it would bother me. I don't even mind just walking by it and seeing it. and I taped it over with red foil. it's annoying.
the backlight can only be turned off in night mode, I see this as a disadvantage, then it's really dark, otherwise it glows blue, not too distractingly, but yeah.
