Nice touch. However, I was surprised that it's on USB-C. I threw it in the cart just so it's a usb hub that comes in handy. Fortunately, I purchased this with a computer that has USB-C (I didn't know such a thing existed until then), so this story has a happy ending.

My experience is that when I used external power supply to the Hub, the PC fans were spinning and some LEDs on the motherboard were lit, even when I disconnected the 220V power cable from the power supply, only after disconnecting the Hub everything turned off, even the power supply light was lit. Info for those who want it on the wall. The back cover is not glued or has any locks. It fell off when I drilled holes in it. So I screwed the back cover to the wall and screwed the top to it. There is about 0.5cm of space between the plastic of the back cover and the electronics plate, so plenty of room for the screw head.
