I'm still waiting for the matter update for use in HomeAssistant. Apple Home integration in HA does not provide smooth video transmission and the camera does not move to the "Watch" state and recording stops after 5 seconds

All the reviews on this bell have been exaggerated. This is really a big failure. The native app is brutally opaque and generates a lot of unnecessary "notifications", but the functioning itself is funny. It is not able to keep the signal and be nonstop even for 1 hour. When someone rings you, only the doorbell works. Looking through the Aqara Home App or Apple Home Kit is a miracle and it's more like 90/10 that you won't see anything. And it doesn't matter if it's batteries or mains power. Unnecessarily overpriced doorbell where the camera does not work

Sometimes even several times a day it falls into offline mode and then returns to online, solved both on the wifi signal and on the side of the distance between one and the bell, so updating the FW, so far nothing has helped and on the Internet there are many cases where it's so bad, but the other option is not yet another bell to HK perhaps it will solve some update, for me would be a better option solution via ethernet but this bell can not.

He sent a notification a couple of times and then stopped. I read online that this is a problem for many people and no one has solved it. So it becomes just a regular doorbell because you don't know someone is ringing when you can't hear the unit.
The internal unit can only be powered via USB C, so if you don't have a power supply within 5m of the doorbell, you're out of luck.

I was looking forward to the bell. Already at the January presentation I couldn't wait and when I had the opportunity to buy it on Alza I didn't hesitate. The look, the ability to have the doorbell in the apple ecosystem, the price. It all played into the hands. But then came the harsh reality. Why do you need a bell if it picks up 3/5 of the movements in front of the camera? The garbage men passed in front of the house and the doorbell didn't know it. And when the car arrived, the camera caught only the "back" of the car. sad..: -/. The bell, on the other hand, rang quite promptly, but the CCTV footage of the whole day was useless. Conclusion. If you want a doorbell and not a camera. Take it! Great thing for a smart home. But if you are thinking about a doorbell and a security device like a security cam, look elsewhere for a classic camera. I returned it. Alzo, thanks for the great service at the Brno branch in Campus.: )

24/7 recording is only possible when connected to electronics. The batteries only record movement (i.e. where there is no electricity, they have to rely on the batteries.
The camera doesn't always capture motion - in my experience it captures about 3 movements out of 5
Sometimes the bell did not alert at all that something was happening in front of the house (for example, the Ash Wednesday was passing by and there was no record)
The supplied batteries are leaking! Beware of oxidation
