I’m currently using AirPods with my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and I’m absolutely delighted with them. I used to own a pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro, and although they weren’t bad, the AirPods are in a completely different league. Whether it’s the sound quality, active noise cancellation (ANC), microphone clarity or, above all, comfort – they fit so well in my ears that I sometimes completely forget I’m wearing them. The battery life is also excellent. So far, the longest I’ve tested them for was about four hours of continuous listening, and the headphones handled it without any problems. When it comes to the ecosystem, many people are wary of combining Apple and Android, but it actually works surprisingly well. Advanced features such as adaptive mode, voice detection and head tracking can be set up once via any Apple device. The setting is saved directly to the headphones' memory, so you won't lose it even when using them with an Android device. The only things that definitely don’t work are certain sensors (such as automatic ear detection), and the automatic connection can be a bit temperamental at times, but that’s a minor drawback. What’s more, the typical pop-up animations that appear when you open a box can easily be handled using third-party apps. I use AndroPods myself, and they work a treat. If you own a Google Pixel, OnePlus or Oppo, the open-source LibrePods app is a great alternative. It doesn’t work on Samsung devices without rooting the phone (which I definitely don’t recommend, given the risk of banking apps being blocked), but it’s a great option for owners of the brands mentioned.

Transitioning from the first generation AirPods Pro. The shift in the sound experience is significant, however, the processing of the box also significantly - inferior. I've had the first generation for over 5 years and even now the box feels more solid and better quality than this new one. The cap squeaks and has play since new, the older generation doesn't have it after so many years.

I owned first AirPods and the previous versions of AirPods pro and was always a satisfied customer. But this version is really bad on so many levels that it amazes me. The sound, the fit, the battery life is a massive disappointment.
I would return them if I was not that much in need of some wireless solution.
