Originál arduino by mělo být z Itálie. Ovšem je to stejně italské jako jsou české některé české výrobky (automobily, elektronika). V Itálii to možná sletují dohromady, v lepším případě tam i vyrábí destičku plošného spoje, ale součástky budou na 100% z číny nebo jiných asijských zemí (polovodičové součástky hodně vyrábí též Malajsie a podobné země, kde neplatí tak přísné ekologické předpisy).
