The InkPad second generation is an e-book and PDF document reader featuring a modern design in dark brown. It consists of an 8" passive display with 250dpi on the basis of electronic ink, which supports 16 shades of grey. Since it does not emit any light, reading from it is natural and does not tire the eyes like conventional displays do. In low light conditions, it is equipped with gentle LED illumination. Its high-resolution display ensures sharpness, even with small fonts. Compared to the previous generation of InkPad, this version is equipped with a lithium-polymer battery, which allows for lighter weight and increased capacity.
InkPad provides an ideal reading experience with the help a few special features, including "Text-To-Speech," which can convert electronic text into spoken words and then read it to the user via headphones or external speakers, in 16 languages. The e-reader can also be used for listening to audiobooks. A pre-installed dictionary will help readers understand the meaning of foreign words in foreign literature.
The e-reader is equipped with a Wi-Fi internet connection that opens the gateway to many other applications such as ReadRate for sharing books, Dropbox and Send To PocketBook for recording books and other content without the need for a cable. Send To PocketBook also provides cloud service. To increase storage capacity, you can buy a Micro SD card up to 32GB.
