After just 12 treatments, your skin will remain hair-free for up to 2 years.* Objective studies show up to 85% hair reduction after just three treatments.** The treatment is safe, painless, and does not cause irritation, ingrown hairs, or spots. Enjoy smooth skin without the worry.

Lumea IPL Technology

During the Intense Pulsed Light treatment, gentle but effective flashes of light are applied to the hair roots, interrupting their growth phase. With regular use of the IPL epilator, hairs fall out naturally, their total number is reduced, and you can enjoy smooth skin without unpleasant irritation and spots.

Skin tone sensor

The device senses your skin and adapts to its needs. The built-in skin tone sensor detects the shade of the area being treated at the beginning of each use and occasionally during it. If it detects that the skin tone is too dark, it automatically stops emitting pulses.

Philips Lumea IPL 7000 gently treats the whole body

The attachment is ideal for treating larger areas of the body, such as the calves, arms, back or stomach. It has a larger application window for easy application of light flashes. You can also use it to treat your underarms or bikini line. It achieves the optimal flash intensity for thorough hair removal without irritation, pain, ingrown hairs or spots.

Mobile app

Give your skin the best possible care with modern technology! For the best results, download the Philips Lumea IPL app, which is available for iOS and Android and is free. It will help you plan your next treatment cycles at the recommended intervals and provide you with a range of unique tips and advice specifically for you and your skin tone.

Skin tones and hair types

The gentle IPL technology is extremely suitable for a wide range of skin tones, but the basic prerequisite for effective use is a sufficiently large contrast between the hair pigment and the skin tone. It achieves excellent results from dark blonde to black hair and from very fair to dark brown skin. This treatment method is not suitable for very light, grey and red hair, nor for very dark skin.
