The Austrian company Noctua is the obvious choice for all discerning customers looking for the highest quality especially in the field of CPU coolers. The latest addition to this category bears the Noctua NH-L9x65 and is directly designed for installation in space-constrained environments. As the name suggests, SE-AM4, this model is ready for the new AMD Stamp processes in the socket AM4.

The ideal cooler for Mini ITX boards and a small cabinets

The cooler has a footprint of only 95 x 95mm in height with a fan fits below 65mm. Compared with an ordinary radiator it is equipped with special heat pipe tubes that intersect several aluminium fins. The actual ribs are only 0.4mm thick and has a classic heatpipe diameter of 6mm. Thanks to the cooler itself it is very solid, and ensures rapid heat dissipation. The fan that is used, the NF-A9x14 PWM, has a size of 92mm but is thin and less than 14mm. Vibration absorbtion is made possible with cleverly positioned rubber pads. The fan speed is overwhelmingly directed to the motherboard, but eventually you can use the supplied attachment and set an upper limit of 1,800 rpm.
