The Noctua NF-A9x14 PWM fan uses the power of eleven stator air baffles and seven integrated rotor blades. They precisely direct the air and are perfect for water cooling radiators or large tower CPU cooling. It includes Noctua PWM control, which provides automatic speed control with very low power consumption. The fan is also equipped with second-generation high-SSO bearings and offers an unprecedented median uptime in excess of 150,000 hours (17 years!) All this with excellent performance, legendary quiet operation, and all the other great features that true geeks appreciate.
Metal Bearing Covers
In order for Noctua to reach the highest possible quality of factory processing, only the best materials are used. The bearings are encased in a cover made entirely of brass, which provides a long life and low wear rate.
Low Profile Design
With a thickness of only 14mm, the A9x14 is ideal for integration into a space where normal fans take up too much space.
SSO2 Bearings
Time-tested proprietary bearings from Noctua were improved even more to help ensure the quietest possible operation. Noctua NF-A9x14 uses optimised SSO2 bearings. For the second generation, the rear magnet was positioned closer to the axis to offer better stabilisation, precision, and durability, which are also encouraged by a solid brass body.
