Evolution is here! The 14nm Polaris manufacturing technology shifts the limits of efficiency, performance and size. The MSI Radeon RX 460 4G OC is the hot new brand and one of the earliest Polaris chips. Sufficient computing power will allow you to fully enjoy virtual reality, with power consumption being half as much as the existing products thanks to the brand new architecture.
The impressive and absorbing experiences of this year's big hit, virtual reality (VR), have so far been the prerogative of precious high-end cards. With Radeon RX 460, MSI aims to get as many customers as possible with this technology, and thanks to a favorable price tag, it can do so. The GPU itself is powered by a 4GB GDDR5 memory. By computing power of more than 2 TFLOPS , this piece can be equal to Pascal's competing NVIDIA chips, which are two times more expensive.
Connector equipment does not boast of modern architecture. In addition to the upgraded HDMI 2.0b port featuring 4K at 60 frames per second, the DisplayPort is on the backside of the 1.4 version. Enhanced interface can handle up to 3,840 × 2,160 at 120 frames per second. There is also the Freesync support for smooth image and HDR for great color results. The Polaris architecture also takes H.265 acceleration to its hips to 4K resolution and even at 60 frames per second.
