Microsoft's Surface Go model comfortably blended the performance of a laptop with first-class tablet mobility.

This is a good competitor in the field of tablet PCs with a favourable price tag. Intel's dual-core Intel Pentium 4415Y CPU with 8GB RAM and Intel HD Graphics 615 chip are at the forefront of the hardware. The Microsoft Surface Go has a 128GB solid state drive, which could be replaced by a memory microSD card in case of insufficient capacity. As far as connectivity is concerned, the wireless interfaces such as WiFi or Bluetooth will complement the high-speed USB-C and Surface Connect to connect the dockable keyboard. Other premium features are fast charging, facial recognition software, and encryption with a TPM processor.

Using your Fingers or a Stylus

The 10" touchscreen offers a good resolution of 1 800 x 1 200 px, a 3:2 aspect ratio and 217 ppi fineness. You can control it not only with your fingers, but also with the Surface Pen touch pen, capable of recognizing up to 4 096 levels of pressure .

Unlocking via Face Sensor

The front of the tablet is dominated by an unobtrusive 5Mpx video camera. The lens incorporates a face sensor that supports fast and secure logging through Windows Hello. The 8Mpx  rear camera can be used for occasional shooting and just like the front sensor, it can shoot up to Full HD resolution.

Tablet PC Charged within Two Hours

The Microsoft Surface Go has a high-speed USB-C that supports both power and 4K monitor connectivity. The connectable keyboard (to be purchased separately) is attached via the Surface Connect port. Great news as far as the battery is concerned - it supports  fast charging and the tablet will be fully charged within  two hours.
