Today everyone wants a tablet, but they often lack comfortable writing for longer texts. The new Microsoft Surface Book 2 looks like an ordinary laptop at first glance, but its body is deceiving. It has a luxury display that is separable from the keyboard. Microsoft Surface Book 2 is on its way to becoming a legend in the tablet hardware industry.
Microsoft Surface Book 2 comes with a familiar 2-in-1 system where the screen is detachable from the keyboard and can be connected back and forth even 180 degrees. Everything has a well-thought-out joint called Muscle Wire. To remove the display, you must press the button, but in all other cases, the display remains secured.
The tablet itself stretches across an impressive 3,000 × 2,000 resolution display with 267ppi. To control such a large area, you'll also be able to use a Stylus surface pen that can recognize up to 1024 pressure levels. The surface of the display is of course completely immune to scratches. Inside, there is a completely unexpected and powerful piece of equipment, the Intel Core i5 7300U Kaby Lake processor, which complements the integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics card. The storage will then serve as a 256GB SSD. There is no match in the area of wireless connectivity - WiFi 802.11ac (2 × 2 MIMO) and Bluetooth 4.0. There are also dual cameras with 8Mpx resolution (back) and 5 Mpx (front).
The tablet itself lasts only about three hours, but immediately after it is inserted into the keyboard dock, it shoots up to 12 hours when playing a video. The keypad comes with high-quality and backlit buttons with a 1.6mm stroke and a really large touchpad with a glass surface that can pick up to five touches at the same time. On the left are two USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader, a mini display port and a charging port on the right.
