Its special shape helps correct anatomical deviations in the development of a child's mouth, which can be caused by things like thumb-sucking. The soother has a flat tip and side wings that promote the correct development of the jaw and dental arch. This prevents future problems such as crooked teeth, an open bite, or incorrect mouth breathing.

The soother was designed in collaboration with experts to prevent orthodontic defects. The flat tip of the teat does not push the palate upwards, which reduces the risk of developing a high-arched palate and prevents tooth misalignment and the future need for braces due to an overbite or crossbite.
