MacBook Air 13" M2 SK 2022 Dark Ink (cat. B)
MacBook Air M2 2022 Midnight. In a completely new design.
Apple's thinnest and lightest laptop gets not only a new design but also the advanced 5nm Apple M2 chip. It features a lightning-fast 8-core CPU that can handle any project. There's also an up to 10-core GPU, powerful enough to run even the most demanding applications and games. We mustn't forget the 16-core Neural Engine that accelerates machine learning tasks, or the high-quality 1080p FaceTime camera. This is the new MacBook Air M2.
M2
The new MacBook Air with the M2 chip.
The Apple M2 chipset uses a 5nm manufacturing process and contains a staggering 20 billion transistors, which is 25% more than the original M1 chip. Thanks to this, you can expect an 18% generation-on-generation increase in CPU performance. The graphics unit has been accelerated by a full 35%. These are absolutely incredible figures. With the MacBook Air M2, you can play modern games, comfortably transcode any video, or edit photos in full quality.
Design and battery life
Up to 18 hours on battery.
Even though the new Apple M2 chip represents another leap in performance, the battery life remains at fantastic levels. You can enjoy a full 18 hours of video playback. And during typical work with a WiFi connection, you will have up to 15 hours available. A huge plus from a user's perspective is the completely passive design. This means that the MacBook Air M2 is completely silent even under maximum load.
Keyboard
Backlit Magic Keyboard.
The MacBook Air M2 has a perfect keyboard with a scissor mechanism, more stable keys, and a faster response. The travel of the individual switches is lower, so keystrokes sound quieter than before. The Force Touch Trackpad is larger, making it easier for you to control all activities on the stunning 13.6" display with a resolution of 2560 × 1664 pixels.

Mobility
A perfectly portable laptop.
The new MacBook Air M2 weighs a mere 1.24kg, yet it won't back down from any task. In practice, you'll appreciate the instant wake-up from sleep mode, the higher quality video output from the integrated 1080p FaceTime camera, and the fast network connection via WiFi 6. And you'll still have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Charging
Magnetic MagSafe 3.
You can easily connect the MagSafe 3 power connector even in the dark. It is held in place by magnets, which, however, quickly release their grip if you accidentally trip over the cable. This prevents you from knocking the MacBook Air M2 to the ground.
The MacBook Air M2 ensures your privacy
macOS operating system
Access to the MacBook Air M2 is protected by Touch ID, ensuring both convenience and security. And thanks to macOS, you can do anything faster than before, while maintaining maximum privacy.
