Time lapse video directly from the camera
The camera comes with advanced time-lapse recording features. Capture shots of the tide on your summer vacation or the endless cycle of clouds breaking over the steep slopes of alpine peaks, that can touch even the most cynical heart. You can choose from time lapse modes plus a relatively unique time lapse video. Time lapse video can be captured without any additional software editing, it is processed directly by the camera. You can share it instantly with your friends.

With X8 Electra, the combination of powerful components ensures Full HD video is captured at 60 frames per second, and in HD video, at one hundred and twenty frames per second. Far away yet still in reach
Like other LAMAX cameras, the X8 Electra features an integrated Wi-Fi connection. This feature can turn your Android phone or iOS mobile phone into a remote control within seconds. Wherever your device is located, monitoring or recording your shots on your phone is a breeze.
Action camera or car camera?
The X8 Electra is also a fully functional car camera, so there is no need to unnecessarily spend extra money on specialised equipment. LAMAX Electronics' experience in producing care cameras has really paid off in the development of the current generation of action cameras, providing logical and intuitive control of all car camera features.
Car mode
When activated, the camera can be used as a dash cam. Once connected to the power supply the camera automatically turns on and begins recording. Disconnecting the power stops the recording and turns the camera off.
Loop recording
This function ensures continuous recording without having to replace the micro SD card. When space runs out on the memory card, the oldest files will be overwritten by the new ones. This function can be manually turned on or off.
Parking mode
Turn the camera into a security guard for your parked car. The X8 Electra automatically begins shooting when there is a collision or an attempted break-in.
Motion Detection
The camera starts recording automatically when it detects motion in the field of view of the lens. Recording automatically ends when the motion stops.
Delay Recording
This function affects when the recording stops after the power supply is disconnected. Recording stops 20 seconds after disconnecting the power. When disabled, recording stops as soon as the power is disconnected.
File Lock
Each recorded file can be locked, protecting it against deletion in the camera gallery and ensuring it is not overwritten whilst loop recording.
Resistance to extreme conditions
With the protective case, the camera's possibilities are greatly expanded. Whether you love climbing, skiing, paragliding, downhill biking or windsurfing, take the X8 with you and shoot unique shots even under such extreme conditions. With the case, you will also have an extraordinary opportunity to experience the underwater world in close proximity to a depth of up to 30m. With your own shots of the deep blue ocean, you will be able to boast to your friends.
2 batteries
You will receive 2 Li-ion batteries with your order. This will double the total length of videos you can shoot. You can record up to 180 minutes of Full HD 1080p video without interruption.
Manual setting
Every professional knows that automatic setup is both convenient and quick but for the best results it is sometimes necessary to set the parameters manually. The X8 Electra allows you to adjust ISO, exposure, white balance or colour filters.
Multilingual Menu
With the X8 Electra we made sure to make the controls intuitive. This along with a complete multilingual menu make controlling the camera a breeze.
Widescreen webcam
Once connected to your computer, you can switch the camera to WEBCAM mode. Subsequently, the X8 Electra becomes a full-featured wide-angle webcam with excellent recording quality.
Automatic image orientation
The LAMAX X8 Electra features an automatic image orientation feature. For example, if the camera is hung upside down, the image automatically rotates to the correct position. Of course, it can also be turned off.
