The Kingston KC600 256GB internal SSD, in the mSATA format, speeds up the response time of older laptops and compact systems with this interface. Its performance is managed by a Silicon Motion SM2259 controller, which organises data transfer at sequential speeds of up to 550MB/s for reading and 500MB/s for writing. Excellent responsiveness when working with applications comes from random access values of 90000 IOPS for reading and 80000 IOPS for writing. A low power consumption of 0.1W contributes to longer battery life. The memory cells are TLC (Triple-Level Cell) type with a lifespan of 150TBW.
