TIERRA VERDE Compost Accelerator is a balanced blend of bacterial cultures mixed with enzymes and nutrients to accelerate the maturation of garden compost while preserving all its nutrients and fertiliser values. Accelerates compost formation for several weeks. The decomposition process in the compost is started by the so-called. mesophilic bacteria, which are suited to temperatures of 20-45 °C, by decomposing simple organic material. Once the temperature exceeds 45 °C, a group of thermophilic bacteria are activated and continue the decomposition of more complex materials such as twigs or straw. This process takes place at temperatures of around 50-60 °C, when the decomposition and subsequent stabilisation of organic matter is at its highest. Once the organic matter is consumed by the bacteria, the temperature is reduced. The result is a stable compost, ready for use.

Use:
For composting 3-5 m³, use 10 scoops to start the process, then five scoops once a month. Keep the compost moist. Pour the required amount of the dry bacteria mixture into lukewarm water at a ratio of five scoops per 10 litres of water, stir and leave to activate for 45 minutes. Pour the activated compost accelerator evenly into the prepared compost. Aerate the compost and keep it moist - when you squeeze the compost in your palm, a few drops of water should come out and the material should not be loose when you open your palm. The accelerator works even at lower temperatures down to freezing.
