Ceresit Waterproofing strip CL 152, 10 m

CERESIT CL 152 is a high quality geotextile waterproofing membrane designed for elastic and waterproof bridging of expansion and jointing joints under ceramic tiles. Thanks to its extreme expansion and high elasticity, it reliably absorbs the movements of the structure, thus preventing cracks and leaks. The belt is resistant to ozone, UV radiation and is not subject to aging, which ensures its long-term functionality even in harsh conditions. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor use - ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, showers, but also for balconies and terraces. Used in conjunction with CERESIT waterproofing products, it provides maximum protection of the substrate against moisture and movement of building elements. The belt reinforces the sealing layers, ensuring a perfect seal of the substrate and protection against water penetration. With dimensions of 12 cm × 50 m × 0.66 mm (w × d × h) and a surface area coverage of 6 m², it is ideal for a wide range of applications. The blue colour ensures easy identification during installation. Pack of 10 m and 50 m.

How to use:
1. The substrate must be firm, dry, clean and free from substances that may impair adhesion. A few isolated cracks in the screed do not cause a problem if the edges of the cracks are aligned. Prior to the application of CL 152, the pipe penetrations as well as the wall and floor connections (drains, etc. ) sealed with CERESIT prefabricated elements.
2. The insulation strip is inserted between two layers of CERESIT sealing products. First, apply the first layer of caulk around transition or expansion joints so that the material easily extends beyond the width of the CL 152 strip, insert the insulation strip and press into the insulation layer of caulk so that no air gaps are created.
3. In the case of expansion joints, create by pressing the strip in the corner or in the joint, i.e. loop, which better helps to bridge movements in the substrate. Then recoat the insulation strip with a second layer of caulking to achieve a perfect seal.
