In 2016, GP Batteries launches a new generation of rechargeable batteries called ReCyko+ and ReCyko+ Pro. The batteries utilise state-of-the-art manufacturing process based on the award-winning technology of the preceding series.
The ReCyko+ series offers a wide range of capacities, enabling each user to pick the optimum ratio between power and operating costs. The AA 2700 (and AAA 1000) model also boasts one of the highest capacities available on the market. The GP ReCyko+ series effectively reduces the self-discharge effect. Each battery set is supplied fully pre-charged, allowing it to be used immediately after unpacking or after prolonged storage.

These rechargeable NiMH GP batteries are ready for use. The batteries come fully pre-charged. They also feature a unique technology that enables them to retain energy even during prolonged storage.
The batteries effectively minimize the Low-Self-Discharge (LSD), effect. The battery thus retains up to 80% of its energy when stored at room temperature. Simply recharge the battery to regain its full capacity.

Each rechargeable battery is limited by an approximate maximum number of charge cycles. When the maximum number of charging cycles is reached, the battery's capacity, and the amount of energy it can store, drop down significantly.
