The GIGABYTE B850 EAGLE WIFI7 ICE motherboard is built on the AMD B850 chipset for the AM5 socket and supports AMD Ryzen™ 9000, 8000, and 7000 series processors. Its ATX form factor offers plenty of room for expansion, and it features a six-layer PCB with mid-loss technology to minimise signal loss. The board has four dual-channel DDR5 memory slots with overclocking support up to 8200MHz using AMD EXPO™ profiles. The X3D Turbo Mode optimises gaming performance with a single click – Ryzen™ 9000 X3D processors can achieve up to 18% higher frame rates, while standard Ryzen™ 9000 non-X3D models get closer to the performance of their X3D counterparts. The board also integrates D5 Bionic Corsa technology for AI overclocking and the HyperTune BIOS with advanced AI-driven optimisation.

Digital power with advanced cooling
The power system uses a digital 8+2+2 phase VRM design with 60A DrMOS modules. Eight VCORE phases ensure a stable power supply for multi-core processors during overclocking, two SOC phases optimise integrated graphics performance and memory management, while another two MISC phases power the PCIe lanes connected directly to the processor. The main power is supplied by a standard 24-pin ATX connector. Massive all-metal VRM heatsinks with a 4× larger cooling surface and 5W/mK thermal pads can reduce temperatures by up to 7°C.
Expansion slots and storage with PCIe 5.0
The board offers four full-size PCIe x16 slots. The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot features PCIe UD Slot technology with an all-metal stainless steel reinforcement, which provides 1.7× higher shear resistance and 3.2× better retention force for heavy graphics cards. Additionally, the SMD technology reduces signal degradation. The other slots are a PCIe 4.0 x4 and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots for add-on cards.
Simple installation
For storage, there are three M.2 slots – one PCIe 5.0 x4 and two PCIe 4.0 x4, all featuring screwless EZ-Latch Click heatsink mounting. The primary M.2 slot is covered by an M.2 Thermal Guard heatsink. In addition, the board provides four SATA III ports for traditional storage. All M.2 slots use the EZ-Latch Plus system for quick installation.
