The GIGABYTE AORUS Radeon RX 9070 XT ELITE 16G graphics card uses the AMD RDNA 4.0 architecture with a Navi 48 chip and features 16GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus. The card offers an operating frequency of 2400MHz with a Boost clock of up to 3100MHz. For connecting monitors, DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b ports are available. It is equipped with an advanced WINDFORCE cooling system and a dual BIOS for choosing between performance and quiet operation.

WINDFORCE cooling system
The cooling solution is built on several technologies at once. Hawk fans with alternate spinning directions optimise airflow and reduce turbulence. Composite copper heat pipes, combined with a large vapour chamber, quickly transfer heat from the GPU to the cooling fins. Server-grade thermal paste ensures better contact between the chip and the heatsink than standard materials. The 3D Active Fan system only activates the fans under higher load, so the card operates completely silently in idle mode.
AORUS design and construction
The front cover of the card uses a speed blur effect that points towards the fans, creating an impression of dynamic movement. The AORUS logo on the side uses a layered design with a gradient effect to deepen the visual perception. The RGB Halo lighting with its signature three rings offers a wide range of effects and can be synchronised with other components via the GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER.
Reinforced construction
The metal backplate with bent edges is firmly attached to the I/O bracket, ensuring the card's mechanical stability. This design protects the PCB from bending while also assisting with passive cooling on the rear side.
