The mouse has 6 button in total, including a wheel, next/ previous buttons, and DPI change, which you can set on three sensitivity levels - 800, 1200, and 1600. If you turn it on or wake it from sleep mode, the mouse will flash red. Repeated flashing will also warn you when the batteries are low.

The lifespan of the left and right buttons is up to 3,000,000 clicks, with other buttons tested to provide up to 1,000,000 clicks. The Eternico vertical mouse will definitely last you for several years.
