EDIFIER MR4
The EDIFIER MR4 speakers are compact active studio monitors designed for home music production, audio editing and everyday music listening. Thanks to their 2-way design, 42W RMS power and careful acoustic tuning, they offer a clean, balanced and detailed sound suitable for audio work and multimedia use. The MDF enclosure also helps to reduce unwanted resonance and contributes to a more accurate reproduction. The EDIFIER MR4 model uses a 1” silk dome tweeter and a 4” woofer for a more natural reproduction of high frequencies and a more prominent bass component. The built-in Class-D amplifier and digital DSP audio processing ensure stable performance and a more precise sound output.

Studio Monitors for More Accurate Sound Reproduction
The EDIFIER MR4s have been designed for those who demand a more accurate and balanced sound when working with music or multimedia. Thanks to professional tuning and DSP processing, they offer clean reproduction with an emphasis on detail. A 1” silk tweeter helps to ensure smooth and natural highs, while a 4” woofer supports a deeper bass response down to 60Hz.
Wide Connectivity Options and Dual Sound Mode
The speakers feature balanced 6.35mm TRS inputs for connecting mixing consoles, audio interfaces or studio equipment. There are also RCA and AUX inputs for common multimedia devices. A front headphone output and a multi-function controller make everyday use easier.
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier, so all you need to do to listen is connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly.Passive speakers are more often referred to as speaker systems. They are intended more for high-quality, loud and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect a variety of sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in the X.Y format (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It indicates how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and above).Specifications
