Computer Case, Corsair Obsidian 550D is designed to effectively reduce the noise emitted by the working components, while ensuring an effective cooling. It is supplied with a pair of 120 mm fans on the front panel and one 120 mm at the rear. Optionally, you can put an extra two 120/140 mm fans or a 240 mm water cooling radiator in the top panel. The side panel can hold a pair of 120/140 mm fans. In total, the case contains ten 120 mm positions from which six is capable of holding even a 140 mm condenser.
The front part and side panels are filled with noise adsorbing material, top and side panel contains also covers with positions for the fans. Front positions for ventilation are especially inclined to further reduce the level of noise emitted into the environment. The positions for the fans and drives are fitted with silicone pads, as well as the positions for ventilation are fitted with magnetic dust filters. An opening of the front door provides space for a pair of USB 3.0 ports and audio connectors. The case can hold up to two cages total of 6 hard drives or solid state drives. The upper cage may also be removed to allow installation of graphics cards of lengths up to 452 mm.
