VIAIR compressors with model designation "C" are designed for filling pressure vessels. These compressors are not equipped with an on/off switch or other proprietary pressure switch, which means the use of a pressure switch and electrical relay is recommended and required for proper operation. In addition, most VIAIR compressors are equipped with a thermal fuse that temporarily disables the compressor if it overheats and after cooling down, the compressor automatically restarts. The VIAIR 95C air compressor is designed for filling pressure vessels with a maximum volume of 1 gallon. This model achieves a maximum working pressure of 120 PSI and a duty cycle of 9% at 100 PSI (6.895 bar), allowing repeated starts without risk of overload.

The VIAIR 95C compressor is suitable for filling pressure vessels with a maximum volume of 3.785 litres (1 gal) and achieves a filling speed of 29 litres per minute on both 12 V and 24 V power supplies. The maximum current draw is 10 A (12 V) or 5 A (24 V), ensuring optimal performance. This compressor is IP54 protected, which means it is dust and water resistant. Its compact dimensions (137 × 78 × 116 mm) and weight of 1.157 kg contribute to its easy handling and portability.
