Three-phase and six-pole motor for quiet operation
The fan uses a three-phase, six-pole motor that operates at a low frequency for smoother running. Unlike standard single-phase motors, this drive principle reduces vibrations and noise, leading to quieter operation even at higher speeds between 1400 and 3000 rpm. The quiet operation is further supported by a fluid dynamic bearing (FDB), which reduces friction. The result is stable and acoustically optimised performance for an undisturbed working environment.
Durable materials and precision engineering
The blades are made from a liquid-crystal polymer (LCP) composite, a material with high strength and low thermal expansion. This property prevents the blades from deforming at high speeds and maintains their aerodynamic profile. The bearing housing is made from CNC-milled brass, which effectively dissipates heat and stabilises the motor axis for long-term reliable operation. The fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) in this housing operates with low wear.
Simplified installation and cable management
Installation and cable management are simplified by patented connectors integrated directly into the fan frame. The daisy-chain system eliminates the need for separate connecting cables between individual fans. With this solution, you can connect multiple fans with a single cable leading to the motherboard or controller, significantly reducing the number of wires in the case. This makes assembly quicker, and cleaner cable organisation improves airflow inside the build.
Optimised design and flexible performance modes
The 28mm deep fan frame provides space for blades with an optimised geometry, which increases both air flow and static pressure. The gap between the blades and the frame is 0.5mm, which reduces air leakage and turbulence at the blade edges. The package also includes an external controller for manually switching between three performance modes: Silence (1400 rpm), Balance (2200 rpm), and Performance (3000 rpm), which alter the balance between performance and noise.
