Efficient power and cooling
The Energy Processing Unit automatically optimises power consumption and maximises energy savings in Away Mode, which shuts down unused I/O controllers to create an energy-saving state. Each header can dynamically reference three thermal sensors, and Fan Xpert lets you map the temperature of supported ASUS graphics cards to optimise cooling for GPU and CPU-intensive tasks. The Prime H610 series is equipped with cooling controls that you can configure via Fan Xpert software or through the UEFI BIOS.
Quality audio and system protection
The board ensures audio quality with shielding that separates the analogue/digital signal domains, reducing multilateral interference. A separate layer for the left and right tracks ensures minimal crosstalk between audio paths. 5X Protection III technology provides multiple hardware safeguards for all-round system protection. The motherboard is designed to harness the extra cores and increased bandwidth of 12th generation Intel Core processors.
Personalisation
The Q-LED Core diagnostic display creates light patterns from the power LED during the POST self-test, which can help users troubleshoot potential issues with undetected DRAM, VGA, boot devices or installation completion. Armoury Crate software provides centralised control of supported products from a single interface, including keyboard and mouse preferences. A single RGB header enables the connection of RGB lighting and its synchronisation with compatible hardware.
