With the Radeon RX 580 model, AMD makes VR technology accessible to a large number of people at a favourable price. The GPU itself has 8GB of GDDR5 memory. With a computing power of more than 5 TFLOPS, this card is on par with the competing Pascal chips from NVIDIA, which are twice as expensive.

The connectivity options support the modern architecture of the graphics card. In addition to the upgraded HDMI 2.0b port featuring 4K at 60fps, there are also two DisplayPort ver. 1.4 connectors. The enhanced interface can handle up to 5K (5120×2880 pixels) or 8K (7680×4320 pixels) at 60fps. FreeSync technology ensures smooth images and HDR provides great colour results. The Polaris architecture also includes the acceleration of the H.265 format with up to 4K resolution even at 60fps.
