How does it work?

Your AirTag emits a secure Bluetooth signal that can be picked up by iPhones, iPads or MacBooks in the vicinity. These devices then send the exact location of your AirTag to iCloud, which in turn you can view on the Find My map. The entire process is anonymous and encrypted, so everyone's privacy remains perfectly secure.
Apple AirTags are reliable devices that boast an IP67 rating, so they can easily handle water and dust. Each AirTag measures 31.9mm in diameter and runs on a replaceable CR2032 button with a lifespan exceeding 12 months.
