iiyama ProLite B2780HSU is a modern widescreen monitor with great performance for home, office and professional use. The front panel is dominated by a Full HD LCD 1,920x1,080 display, which means you can accommodate more information on your screen, in fact up to 60% more in comparison to a standard 1,280x1,024 monitor. The display is enclosed by a super-thin frame which is only 7mm thick and it achieves a 16:9 aspect ratio.
Also, the contrast ratio, that is, the degree of difference between the darkest black and the brightest white your monitor can display, is great at 1:5 million.  Advanced Contrast Ratio, which automatically adjusts the contrast and screen brightness to ensure the perfect picture quality, provides great support while watching movies and playing games.
The video and audio output quality of the above-mentioned movie and game play is further supported by the popular HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) connector. Its advantage lies not only in better signal transmission than DVI, but also in its ability to transmit audio components in addition to the image folder. Two 2W stereo speakers are located on the back of the monitor. Also supported is VGA and USB version 2.0, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of other devices and accessories.
The production of the device has also considered the environment, so the LED backlighting uses modern LED technology, instead of a typical CCFL LCD that uses four lamps for backlighting. The use of LEDs significantly reduces energy consumption and reduces CO2 emissions into the environment, making this device an eco-friendly product.
With VESA support there is also the possibility to hang the monitor on the wall.
