eSports Speed and Smoothness
The core of the low-response ASUS ROG Strix XG259QNS 24.5" eSports monitor is its ASUS Fast IPS panel technology. It allows pixels to switch faster than conventional IPS panels, resulting in a low 1ms (GtG) response time. Combined with a native refresh rate that can be overclocked to 380Hz, you get an image with smooth motion without unwanted blur. These parameters are key for fast-paced gaming genres, such as first-person shooters or racing titles.
Sharp Monitor Image
For tear-free and artefact-free viewing, the ASUS ROG Strix XG259QNS eSports monitor is equipped with FreeSync Premium technology, which synchronises the refresh rate with the graphics card's output and maintains a smooth flow of frames. The ELMB SYNC (Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync) function serves to achieve higher image sharpness in dynamic scenes. This technology combines motion blur reduction with adaptive synchronisation, effectively eliminating ghosting and double edges without causing image tearing.
True Colours and Gaming Enhancements
In addition to speed, the ASUS ROG Strix XG259QNS eSports monitor also emphasises visual quality. 110% sRGB colour space coverage delivers vibrant and accurate colours, while DisplayHDR 400 certification ensures high contrast and detail in both light and dark parts of the scene. The DisplayWidget Center software provides easy adjustment, making all parameters accessible via the mouse. Gamers can use the GamePlus feature to display a crosshair or timer directly on the screen, or use the preset GameVisual display modes optimised for different genres. Flicker-free and Blue Light Filter technologies reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions.
Ergonomics and Positioning Options
The stand of the ASUS ROG Strix XG259QNS eSports monitor offers advanced positioning options. It allows you to adjust the height, side-to-side swivel, and tilt. The pivot function allows you to rotate the screen 90° to a vertical position. The base is also equipped with a practical mobile phone holder and a ¼" tripod socket for attaching a camera. The monitor is compatible with VESA standard mounts, which facilitates mounting on a wall or an adjustable arm.

Colour Coverage (Gamut)
Determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for the web, films, or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals at work. The higher the stated value, the better the monitor displays colours. Maximum Brightness
The value, given in nits or cd/m², determines the brightness level of the monitor. A brightness above 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are sufficient with values above 250. Refresh Rate and Response Time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the image and the less eye strain. A lower response time value (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
