Flexible Dual-Mode
Dual-Mode technology offers a choice between high resolution and high frequency. Gamers can switch between 4K mode with a 144Hz frequency and Full HD mode with a 288Hz frequency depending on the specific game title. A five-way joystick on the back of the device makes it easy to switch settings. This feature meets the needs of both fast-paced action games and detailed simulators.
Automatic Mode Management with AI Dual Mode
The AI Dual Mode feature automatically adjusts display parameters when changing resolution. The system recognises the current settings in Windows and adapts the refresh rate. Users don't have to bother with manually adjusting parameters in the operating system. The transition between modes is smooth and without interrupting the gaming experience.
Effective Multitasking with PbP
Support for Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture functions expands the possibilities of using the screen space. Users can watch signals from two different sources simultaneously on one monitor. This mode makes it easier to watch a game stream while playing your own game. The feature helps to efficiently organise your workspace when multitasking.
Wide Viewing Angles of the IPS Panel
The IPS panel used maintains colour fidelity from different viewing angles. Both horizontal and vertical viewing angles are 178° without image distortion. The wide viewing angles contribute to a stable perception of the colour spectrum. The display, with an active area of 697.3056 × 392.2344mm, provides a consistent image for every viewer.
High 4K UHD Resolution
The 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution delivers a fine raster with a pixel pitch of 0.18159 × 0.18159mm. A native contrast ratio of 1,500:1 is complemented by a DCR contrast ratio of 100,000,000:1. The high contrast ratio renders deep blacks in dark scenes. The matte anti-glare surface reduces light reflections from the surrounding environment.
Fast Refresh Rate
In normal mode, the screen operates with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 1ms (MPRT) response time. Fast frame redrawing eliminates motion blur in fast-paced scenes. The low response time prevents unwanted ghosting behind moving objects. The monitor maintains sharp object edges even during rapid camera movements.
Tear-Free Gaming with FreeSync Premium
AMD FreeSync Premium technology synchronises the monitor's refresh rate with the graphics card. This feature eliminates annoying screen tearing and gets rid of frame rate fluctuations. A smooth, tear-free visual experience helps gamers aim precisely. The system responds smoothly to changes in the scene's rendering demands.
Monitor Colours
The colour coverage is 132% of the sRGB standard, 91% of Adobe RGB, and 94% of the DCI-P3 standard. The monitor displays up to 1.07 billion colour shades thanks to its 10-bit colour depth with FRC technology. The high colour coverage provides rich and realistic colours for all displayed content. Users can also adjust the saturation and perform six-axis colour adjustments. This allows gamers and content creators to see precise transitions between individual shades.
Smart AI Vision gaming features
AI Vision technology reveals hidden details in dark areas of the image and adjusts the brightness. The Optix Scope feature offers multi-level magnification of a selected part of the screen using keyboard shortcuts. The smart crosshair changes colour according to the current background for better visibility. Gamers gain a better overview of the situation on the battlefield, even in adverse lighting conditions.
Adjustable Stand
The stand offers height adjustment from 0 to 100mm and tilt from -5° to 15°. Users can swivel the screen from -30° to 30° or use the pivot function to rotate it by 12°. The adjustable stand helps you find the right position for healthy posture at your desk. For wall or arm mounting, it uses a standard 100 × 100mm VESA mount.
Easy on the Eyes with Flicker-Free
Flicker-Free and Less Blue Light technologies reduce eye strain during long gaming sessions. The monitor emits less blue light and eliminates imperceptible screen flicker. This eye-care technology makes long-term viewing more comfortable. Power consumption in SDR mode is 32kWh per 1,000 hours of operation, which places the device in energy efficiency class F.
Connectivity Options
The rear panel of the MSI MAG 321UPD E14 monitor includes interfaces for connecting PCs, laptops and modern gaming consoles. Colour Gamut
Determines how accurately the monitor can display colours. sRGB is ideal for the web, films or games. DCI-P3/Adobe RGB is appreciated by graphic designers or professionals. The higher the value, the better the monitor displays colours.
Maximum Brightness
The value given in nits or cd/m² determines the brightness level of the monitor. A brightness of over 400 nits is key for HDR content and readability in sunlight, while standard office monitors are fine with values above 250.
Refresh Rate and Response Time
The refresh rate (Hz) determines the number of frames displayed per second, so the higher the value, the smoother the picture and the less eye strain. A lower response time (ms) eliminates motion blur. 144Hz+ is ideal for gaming, while values around 75Hz are suitable for office monitors.Specifications
