YAMAHA CD-S303
A high-quality CD player with Pure Direct mode for the purest listening experience
The YAMAHA CD-S303 is a CD player in a compact silver design, made from high-quality components to achieve the purest sound. The Pure Direct circuit minimises background noise, and short signal paths reduce the risk of signal loss or interference. The device is equipped with a 192kHz/24-bit D/A converter, which provides a very good signal-to-noise ratio and a wide dynamic range. It plays CD-R/RW discs and, thanks to the USB port on the front, allows you to play music files in MP3, WMA, LPCM, AAC, and FLAC formats. The display shows information about the content being played and offers various functions for convenient operation.

Designed for the Best Possible Sound: The YAMAHA CD-S303 CD Player
The YAMAHA CD-S303 has been designed for the best possible sound performance. The individual parts of its construction influence the final playback quality:
- High-quality acoustic capacitor
- New low-noise, high-gain operational amplifier
- Damping material under the transformer and around the signal cables
Pure Direct Mode and Optimised Circuit Layout
When Pure Direct mode is activated—either on the front panel or with the remote control—the digital output and display are turned off. This results in minimal background noise and better analogue signal quality. All components on the circuit boards are carefully isolated to prevent electromagnetic interference. In addition, the layout of the parts ensures the shortest possible signal paths, which are crucial for reducing signal loss or interference.
