Audio notification
The device offers a choice of 7 ringing melodies, which can be easily changed. A 2W speaker transmits the sound to announce incoming guests. An integrated instant mute button turns off the ringing when you need some peace and quiet. The adjustable volume is used to adapt the acoustic performance to the specific conditions in the room.
Flexibility
Plugging the chime directly into an electrical socket simplifies its placement and setup. Users can place the device in any standard socket within range of the wireless signal. This method of power supply eliminates the need for regular battery changes and maintains continuous operation without the need to lay new cabling.
Whole home coverage
The system allows you to pair multiple chimes with a single video doorbell and place them on different floors of the building. This means users can hear the doorbell in the garden or in the workshop, regardless of the distance from the main entrance. The solution prevents you from missing a delivery or a visitor, even if you are in a remote part of the house. The wireless connection relays the signal between the individual components without the need to install additional cables.
Everyday operation
The physical ringing complements the mobile notifications from the smart video doorbell, which the user may not have with them at the time. The household thus gets a solution for monitoring the arrival of visitors in real time without having to constantly check a mobile phone. The acoustic signal sounds immediately after pressing the button on the outdoor unit and helps the occupants of the house to react in time, even in a noisy environment during housework.
Integration into the smart home
The device becomes part of a wider security ecosystem and works with other smart elements. Connection with Google Assistant and Alexa voice assistants allows direct control of the entire system with voice commands without using a phone. The entire configuration is carried out according to individual home security requirements.
Control in the Yale Home app
The Yale Home app combines the management of locks, cameras, alarms, video doorbells and gate openers into a single interface. The mobile interface provides access to all functions from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Users can view activity history, launch a live view from cameras or communicate via two-way audio. The app also supports managing multiple properties at once.
