Testing progress
Sampling of the nose/nasopharynx: insert a sterile swab into one nostril. The tip of the swab should be inserted approximately 2.5 cm from the edge of the nostril. Roll the swab over the mucous membrane of the nostril 5 times to ensure that both mucus and cells are collected. Repeat this procedure for the other nostril to ensure that a sufficient sample is taken from both nostrils (use the same swab).
Important information
As part of the testing process, the purchaser shall ensure that if a positive antigen test is detected by a lay person, the plant physician (occupational health provider) or the registering general practitioner is immediately notified and decides to perform a confirmatory test and arranges for communication within the ISIN system.
After use, dispose of the product as medical waste in accordance with applicable regulations.
