A Lens That's Ideal for Portrait Photography
The 85mm focal length is one of the most popular for portrait photography. The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro captures a natural perspective, gently separates the subject from the background, and helps create impressive photos. It is perfect for detailed portraits, full-body shots, and wider compositions, as well as for reportage and creative photography.
f/1.4 Aperture for Creative Photography
The large f/1.4 aperture allows you to shoot in lower light conditions while creating a significantly blurred background. The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens helps to naturally separate the subject from its surroundings, highlight important details, and give portraits a professional look with a soft bokeh.
Professional Quality Without Compromise
The advanced optical design of the VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens ensures high sharpness, true-to-life colour reproduction, and rendering of fine details across the entire frame. This provides an image quality that will meet the demands of discerning photographers in portrait, reportage, and creative photography.
Ready for Video Recording
The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens is designed to meet the demands of both photographers and videographers. Fast and accurate autofocus, along with minimal focus breathing, helps ensure smooth footage with a natural look. Its high image quality makes it suitable for portrait videos, interviews, and other creative work.
Faithful Colours and a Sharp Image with VILTROX
The advanced optical design of the VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens ensures true-to-life colour reproduction and high sharpness in various lighting conditions. Anti-reflective coatings, together with HR optical elements, help reduce flare and unwanted ghosting, resulting in clean, high-contrast images with fine detail.
The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro Offers Intuitive Controls
The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens offers controls that make it easy to work with for both photography and video recording. There is a programmable Fn button to which you can assign selected functions via the Viltrox Lens app. An AF/MF switch allows you to instantly switch between autofocus and manual focus, and an aperture ring with a Click/Declick function offers smooth or stepped aperture control depending on your current use.
The Lens is Ideal for All Weather Conditions
The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens is designed for reliable use even in challenging conditions. The all-metal construction ensures high durability and a long service life, while sealing against dust and splashing water helps protect the internal mechanisms from adverse environmental influences. This allows you to fully concentrate on shooting and filming, regardless of the weather.
Advanced Optical Design for Superior Images
The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens uses an optical design with 15 elements in 11 groups, which ensures high sharpness and accurate rendering of details across the entire frame. Three ED elements effectively suppress chromatic aberration, nine HR elements contribute to high image quality while maintaining a compact design, and a UA aspherical element reduces optical defects and unwanted circular artifacts in out-of-focus areas. HD Nano anti-reflective coatings also ensure a clean, high-contrast image by helping to minimise flare and ghosting.
Fast and Precise Dual HyperVCM Autofocus
The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro lens is equipped with a patented Dual HyperVCM autofocus system that ensures fast, quiet, and precise focusing. In conjunction with eye and face detection support, it allows you to reliably track your subject and capture sharp images even in dynamic situations.
Thought Through to the Last Detail
The VILTROX 85mm f/1.4 Pro features a USB-C port for easy firmware updates, so you can keep it compatible with new camera features. A precision brass metal bayonet mount contributes to a reliable connection to the camera, and the matte inner finish of the lens hood helps to reduce unwanted reflections when shooting.
