With support for Eye AF, the VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM helps keep the subject perfectly sharp even when in motion. The camera can quickly recognise and continuously track eyes, making it easier to photograph people and animals. Thanks to reliable focus tracking, you can concentrate on the composition of the shot and capture the decisive moment with maximum precision.
The lens is ideal for vlogging and video recording
Thanks to the combination of its compact size, fast aperture, and smooth autofocus, the VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM is a great choice for vlogging and professional video creation. The wide-angle focal length makes it easy to shoot handheld, captures more space in the frame, and gives videos an impressive perspective. The quiet focusing operation also doesn't interfere with the sound recording, so the lens is appreciated by content creators, filmmakers, and anyone who wants to shoot high-quality video without compromise.
Continuously Adjustable Aperture Ring
The VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM lens is equipped with a continuously adjustable aperture ring that allows for precise and smooth aperture changes without stepping. Every detail of the VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM lens is designed with an emphasis on comfortable operation and long life. The internal focusing design maintains a constant lens length during focusing and ensures smooth operation of the focusing mechanism. The smoothly operating focus ring allows for precise manual focusing, which will be appreciated by photographers and video creators alike. The front optical element is equipped with multiple HD Nano coatings with a water- and oil-repellent finish, which help to reduce dirt build-up, facilitate cleaning, and at the same time contribute to high image quality.
Practical Features for Everyday Use
In addition to its top-quality optics, the VILTROX 16mm f/1.8 STM also offers a number of practical features that make everyday photography more enjoyable. The flat front element allows you to use standard 77mm filters without any problems, so you can easily expand your creative possibilities with polarising, ND or protective filters. The lens also includes a clear LCD screen that displays important information about the settings and makes it easy to check them directly while shooting. There is also a programmable Fn button for quick access to selected functions and a USB-C port that allows for convenient firmware updates and ensures compatibility with the latest camera features.
